Lead Sales Associate and Social Media Manager

My time with Orangetheory shaped me into who I am today in so many ways. Working as a sales associate for many years helped me become an efficient salesperson, communicator, speaker, and manager. My job taught me responsibility, time management, multi-tasking, and customer service.

Working at two different franchised locations gave me the unique opportunity to see differences and best practices in both settings and allowed me to learn the ins and outs of the establishment.

Social Media Manager

After many years with the Towne Center location as a sales associate, I chose to overhaul the social media and in-studio engagement for my Master's Professional Project.

In coordination with a nation-wide Transformation Challenge, I planned, researched, and implemented a 12-week member engagement campaign that included:

  • daily social media content

  • frequent in-person member challenges and touches

  • retail and swag giveaways, including more than 20 home-made tie-dye shirts

  • fundraising events

  • member bingo

  • facilitated partnerships with local businesses who donated merchandise, gift cards, and more for members to enjoy

Member Engagement

I planed and implemented a 12-week member engagement campaign that included several member giveaways and raffles to encourage engagement both in-studio and online. My budget for the endeavor was close to nothing, but I was able to pull it off!

Some of the giveaways included 20 hand tie dyed shirts (by me!), Athleta gift cards, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Bath Junkie gift set, Orangetheory swag and heart rate monitors, and more.

Influencer Partnership

While at Orangetheory, I established a mutually beneficial partnership with local micro-influencer Jordan Hefler. In exchange for some free gear and swag, Jordan made three feed and three story posts for the studio, pushing the OTF name to her large 10k+ local following.

Fundraiser

Orangetheory's partnership with the American Heart Association encouraged studio-level donating and promotion during heart month. At Towne Center members gave money for their coaches to do burpees. I created flyers, donation slips, and other materials to promote through out the studio.

Overall, the Towne Center studio raised more than $800 for the American Heart Association.
